Dive Team 
The Frankfort Fire Protection District Dive Team was formed in 2009 and is a member of the MABAS Division 19 & 22 Water Rescue and Recovery Team which includes members from Frankfort, Lockport, Mokena, New Lenox, Orland Park, Palos Park, Palos Heights and Peotone Fire Departments. Currently, the Frankfort team consists of 6 members who are certified Emergency Rescue Divers, Swift Water Technicians as well as Sonar Technicians. Member attend monthly dive trainings in order to maintain the highest level of professionalism to those we serve.
The MABAS Division 19 & 22 Water Rescue and Recovery Team provides initial and sustained emergency response to water, ice, and swift-water rescue and recovery situations. Our dive team services 37 fire and rescue agencies in Cook and Will County, Illinois. Additionally, our team works closely with law enforcement agencies operating within the response area on evidence and/or vehicle recoveries. Our current response area of 502 square miles serves a population of more than 816,428.
