An ordinance is a piece of legislation enacted by a municipal authority. The Frankfort Fire Protection District is in fact a municipal authority and from time to time passes resolutions and ordinances. Most pertain to the levying of taxes and establishing the tentative and final budgets each fiscal year.
However, there are times an ordinance is approved that is not budget related. Some are passed to rescind previous ordinances, an update to the life safety code is an example.
Here you will find some of the most recent ordinances in effect:
Ordinance No. 226 AN ORDINANCE FIXING CHARGES FOR LIFE SUPPORT EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE FRANKFORT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 216 OF THE FRANKFORT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
Ordinance No. 197 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND IMPLEMENTING A PROGRAM TO CHARGE MITIGATION RATES FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF EMERGENCY AND NON-EMERGENCY SERVICES BY THE FIRE DISTRICT FOR SERVICES PROVIDED/RENDERED BY THE FRANKFORT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
