Trustee Vacancy
September 11, 2023 - The board of Trustees is proud to announce that Mr. James McGeever has been appointed to fill this vacancy. The board would like to sincerely thank those individuals that expressed interest in the position.
September 7, 2023 - The board of Trustees has begun the process of reviewing the submitted resumes, and scheduling interviews. Thank you to all interested individuals that submitted letters of interest.
August 1, 2023 - The Board of Trustees of the Frankfort Fire Protection District is seeking to fill a vacancy that exists due to the resignation of a Trustee.
Individuals that are interested in being considered for an appointment to fill this vacancy should submit a letter of interest and resume addressed to the board President, by 5pm Friday August 25, 2023. Documents can be mailed, or hand delivered to the District’s administrative office at 333 W. Nebraska St. Frankfort, IL 60423 or emailed to jacobs@frankfortfire.org
The appointment shall extend until after the next consolidated election in April 2025, and end when the newly elected Trustee is sworn in, in May 2025. The Board will review all submitted letters and resumes and conduct any personal interviews before making a final decision at a future Board meeting.
