Pallets Donation
The Frankfort Fire Protection District’s Training Division is always needing pallets to use for real world training exercises.
NFPA 1403 outlines the minimum requirements for conducting live fire training in fixed-facility and acquired structures. A key requirement is that only wood-based products that are known or have well-characterized burning behavior should be used as part of the training fuel package.
If you have accumulated extra wooden pallets on your property the Frankfort Fire Protection District can get rid of the pallets for you. Your donations of pallets are welcomed.
Pallets can be dropped off at the fire department or we can arrange to have the pallets picked up at no cost to you.
