TRUSTEE ELECTION FILING NOTICE
The Consolidated Election will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The Frankfort Fire Protection District will have two (2) Trustee positions open for a six (6) year term and one (1) Trustee position open for a two (2) year term.
Petition packets may be picked up at the Frankfort Fire District Headquarter Offices located at 333 W. Nebraska Street, Frankfort, IL, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Petition documents can also be obtained from the State Board of Elections website at www.elections.il.gov.
The first day to file petitions at the Frankfort Fire District Headquarters will be Monday, December 12, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. The last day to file is Monday, December 19, 2022 by 5:00 p.m.
Candidates must obtain no less than 25 signatures from registered voters within the Frankfort Fire Protection District.
The last day to file objections with the Local Election Official will be Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
