Community Engagement

Dear Frankfort Fire Protection District Supporter,

The Frankfort Fire Protection District Board of Trustees is committed to planning responsibly for the future of our fire and emergency services. As our community grows and emergency calls increase, the District must look ahead to ensure we have the staffing, facilities and resources needed to continue delivering high-quality service.

To guide this effort, we are launching a community engagement process that will be led by a Facilitating Team. This team will bring residents together for meaningful discussions, gather community feedback and help the District better understand priorities for the future. Working alongside our staff and community engagement experts, the Team will play an important role in ensuring the process reflects the voices of our community.

We need your help in identifying people who could serve on this Team. We are looking for 15 to 20 individuals who represent a broad cross-section of our community in terms of age, geography, and background. Anyone not selected, along with all residents of our community, will still be invited to participate in community-wide engagement sessions beginning early next year.
